Based in Chicago, Violet Luczak is an artist, designer and educator. She holds her MFA from Cranbrook Academy of Art and her BA from Elmhurst University. Luczak specializes in the multi-disciplinary conjuncture of traditional design and painting. She possesses a strong sense of artistry and forward-thinking that is consistently displayed across all portfolio pieces. Luczak has participated in various exhibitions, including but not limited to, the Detroit Artist Market’s CAA Exhibition (Finalist), Detroit, MI USA, the Curiosity National Fine Arts Exhibition, Woodstock, IL USA, Works in Progress, Ann Arbor, MI USA and the Mercedes-Benz Financial Services Exhibition. Luczak has also been published in New American Paintings No. 147 MFA Annual Issue, The Other Art Fair, It’s Nice That and Young Space. Luczak has designed for many clients including, but not limited to, VSA Partners, Digitas LBi and UL LLC. Luczak recently debuted her first solo show, An Udder Disaster, at Talking Dolls in Detroit, MI. Violet is currently exhibiting at Art Mile and is represented by PLAYGROUND DETROIT.
